Vermeister was founded in 1975 as a small family business and was amongst the first to be set up in the world of wood flooring, a sector for which it has a true vocation, offering a range of products for laying, treating and maintaining wood floors. Today, the company is under the management of Silvano and Marco Arzuffi, respectively the firm’s CEO and COO. Certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 standard which guarantees the efficiency of the company system, Vermeister has always focused on developing solutions that protect the environment by performing constant research into the formulation and manufacturing processes of ecofriendly solutions.

    In fact, the company’s attention to reducing its carbon footprints is evident in the various phases of the production cycle and the distribution, from the choice of raw materials to the manufacturing processes, from transportation to recycling and waste disposal. Vermeister was the first company in the world in the “wood flooring” sector to formulate an emission-free product for treating wood floor which, apart from being of an extremely high standard of quality, is the best in terms of its people and environment-friendly features. 

    Since 1975, at Vermeister we have dealt solely and exclusively with wood flooring and this dedication together with our experience enables us today to be considered a true reference point with regard to the treatment and maintenance of wood floors. Without being distracted by other markets, Vermeister has always concentrated and focused on just one “theme”, thus giving added value to its “expertise”. All our investments have been aimed at wood floors and, as a result, our know-how has developed more quickly. Today, this aspect is widely acknowledged as our brand is present in over 60 Countries throughout the world.

    All this, summarised in just four words, embodies what we consider to be an invaluable asset which assists and guides us daily towards achieving marks of esteem and success. This explains the bases on which we have built what we have today. We could take the credit for having watered the seeds that were given to us, but the value of that great legacy is not due to us.
